πŸ”” Are you ready for Microsoft Teams Rooms policy changes next month?

Starting from July 1, 2023, Microsoft is changing the licensing policy for Teams Rooms deployments. Users will no longer be able to apply M365/O365 user subscription licenses to their Teams Rooms devices, including Surface Hub and Teams Panels.

πŸ“š Here are the details on the new licenses:

1️⃣ Teams Rooms Pro license: Provides enhanced meeting experiences and advanced management features. It's suitable for organizations of all sizes with larger room counts or more advanced needs.

2️⃣ Teams Rooms Basic license: Offers core meeting experiences at no additional cost. This license is limited to 25 Teams Rooms systems in your organization.

3️⃣ Teams Shared Device license: This license is for use on Teams Panels in rooms where there is no Teams Room or Surface Hub prese​1​e】.
